Protecting the world from Social networking interaction (00000404)
2.9/5 (104 Votes)
A friend of mine (m/19) is, to use a modern turn of phrase, a bit of an attention whore. That means she shares, comments and posts every triviality of her life on a famous social networking site to generate as many likes as possible. There are far too many pointless posts. Among some of the better ones are: "yesterday I went shopping" or "just chilling tomorrow". When I visited her a few days ago, however, she made the fatal mistake of leaving the room and not taking her smartphone with her. Since she was already logged in, I quickly changed the privacy settings so that only she can see her posts and the rest of her friends are safe from it. Now she thinks that people are plotting against her, and what really annoys her is that she gets no attention for her posts. I just laugh into my fists. I hope that I will have the courage to tell her one day, but until now it is too hilarious. I'll keep as a silent as a grave.

Coughing in the library (00000281)

Sometimes when I'm sitting in my university library, I cough loud enough just to cause a chain reaction same as whenever someone sneezes. My record is 12.

Nyan Cat (00000197)
2.8/5 (74 Votes)
I (m/28) work in a medium-sized IT company as an administrator. Last year we had 15-year old student interns. When one of them came to me on his first day and asked me what he should do, then I thought I would play a joke on him. I took him to a free computer, watched a video and told him he should watch it quickly and I opened this 10-hour Nyan Cat video. But instead of laughing or looking surprised, we agreed enthusiastically and clicked play. Now I was surprised because I didn't know if he was trying to pull my leg or if he was really just mediocre to understand what was going on. I went back to my work anyway, and decided to go back in 15 minutes and give him a new job. Unfortunately this didn't happen because I really had a lot to do that morning and I totally forgot about the poor kid. Shortly before noon I finally thought about him again. I figured that he had stopped watching and headed home, might either be playing on his smartphone or doing something else. As I walked into the room. I saw that this wasn't the case. This guy had really sat there from 8 am to 12:30 pm and watched this ridiculous video. He was literally glued to the screen and his eyes had already turned into squares. As a reward, I let him go home early, I absolutely thought he earned it.
